    Only one collection from more than 30 years of Jack K. Overmyer's Considered Comment columns remains for sale. His previous two collections,"Reflections of a Hoosier Editor" and A Hoosier Editor's Reflections Resumed," and his Civil War book, "A Stupendous Effort: The 87th Indiana in the War of the Rebellion," are sold out. However, all of his books are available at the Fulton County Public Library.

    Overmyer, who died May 21, 2010, was president and owner of The Rochester Sentinel at the time of his death and was its editor and publisher for more than 30 years. Founder and first president of the Fulton County Historical Society, for most of his life he has studiously pursued an interest in the Civil War.

    GATHERINGS:
