When poor Nosey falls over dead on children
because of exhaustion....continued abuse...pain..and old age....you folks have nobody to blame except yourselves for taking part in this abusive greedy behavior. Have any if you got a heart? PROVE IT! :/

Elephants do not belong in Kewanna Indiana. Young, old, healthy, or otherwise. To enslave such a beautiful majestic wild animal and haul them around caged, chained, and bull whipped into submission for the sake of profit and entertainment is sickening. And anyone that condones or participates in any piece of this crime
against such a gentle creature should have it done to them. WAKE UP and STAND UP for what's right Kewanna. Say no, and then put the pressure on this thoughtless animal handler to release this poor old arthritic elephant to a sanctuary.

I seriously hope that all of the articles relating to Nosey the elephant are untrue. I can't imagine anyone with a sound mind or the tiniest heart forcing an old, arthritic to perform. It really makes me sad and sick to think that the people involved in the Kewanna Fall Festival would have any part of this.

It is lamentable...in fact, a terrible shame that the Festival chose to "rent" the old, abused, ill and worn out elephant Nosey to "perform for the guests of the festival. To have done so is a tragedy, and abuse prompted by her owner Hugo Liebel who despite being warned continues to 'sell' her services even though she is unable and unfit for what he demands. Concerned people have been trying for years to rescue Nosey from her abuser/owner and the fact that the Festival is participating in her continued abuse is pathetic. Shame.
