This Week's Poll
The Fulton County Round Barn Festival is June 6, 7 and 8. What part of the festival is your favorite?

Please select one:
1. The food. There’s nothing like a Lions shake, an elephant ear and a sausage sandwich to curb a festival food craving.
2. The Twilight parade. It’s a good length, the time of day is perfect and it’s fun to see your friends and neighbors on their floats and vehicles.
3. The music. There aren’t very many opportunities for an outdoor concert in Rochester these days and the festival bands are usually pretty entertaining.
4. The midway/vendor tents/downtown walk. There’s plenty of shopping, eating, neighbors to visit with and wackiness to watch.
5. All of it. I just really like summertime festivals.

Cops: Pal's license used
The Sentinel report

Indiana State Police say a Rochester man arrested on an identity deception warrant this week was using his dead friend's documentation to buy cold medicine.

James L. Foster, 56, was arrested Tuesday in Akron by sheriff's deputies on four felony counts. He was being held in the Fulton County Jail on $7,500 bond.

State police said they started investigating Foster after someone told them he was allegedly using the identification of a deceased man, Paul Bennett, to obtain pseudoephedrine at area pharmacies.

State police said Foster was a family friend of Bennett and somehow, after Bennett died in April 2010, Foster obtained Bennett's driver's license. Bennett and Foster have similar attributes, police said.

Between June 15 and Dec. 29, 2012, Foster allegedly displayed Bennett's license while signing for pseudoephedrine at a pharmacy four times, police said.

Pseudoephedrine sales are regulated because the over-the-counter drug is used in the production of methamphetamine.
