This Week's Poll
President Obama has said he is reluctant to deploy U.S. combat troops against brutal Islamist extremists in Syria and Iraq. Do American soldiers belong there?

Please select one:
1 – Every civilized country has an obligation to stand up against these extremists. Their goal is to deny the free world oil. If the West doesn’t stop them, no one will. Send troops.
2 – No opinion.
3 – America doesn’t have a dog in this hunt. We should let the Islamists and the moderates in the Mideast fight it out among themselves. Keep our troops out of it.
4 – We should do what we can to help the good guys with drones and air strikes, but our foot soldiers belong at home.

This Week's Poll
Congressional candidates have been debating at Rochester High School since the early 1990s. Should U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-2nd Dist.,debate her opponent, Joe Bock, at Rochester High School this fall?

Please select one:
1 – Only if it helps her campaign. Her first priority should be to get re-elected, not hang around with a bunch of kids, and you can never tell what might happen in a debate.
2 – No opinion.
3 – Yes. Anyone who is unwilling to stand up on the RHS stage and answer questions from students, the local newspaper and her opponent has no place in Congress.
