Dorothy Barbara Jones, 94, of Royal Center, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens in Zionsville.

Born July 8, 1918, in Kewanna, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Campbell.

She was a 1936 Logansport High School graduate and also a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Lucerne.

On Jan. 29, 1938, she married Mark Jones. He preceded her in death May 14, 2007.

Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to her family. She was a true partner to her husband, Mark. Together they built and maintained their home in Royal Center. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, baking and especially family get-togethers.

Survivors include daughter, Tona M. Catavolos (George) of Zionsville; and two sons, Michael E. Jones of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Mark A. Jones (Karen) of Chicago. She is also survived by sister, Kathryn Butts; brother, John Campbell (Virginia); grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Denise Rebeor (Gene), Mackenzie Jones, Calli Jones, Lindsay Catavolos and Stephanie Catavolos; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Drajeske, Marisa Drajeske, Reagan Rebeor, Tori Rebeor and Lexi Rebeor.

Siblings Doyle, Lester, and Roberta preceded her in death.

Graveside service is at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Royal Center Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon-1p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Lights Hospice, 7164 Graham Road, Ste. 150, Indianapolis or The Hearth at Tudor Gardens, 11755 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville.
