Eldonna Graffis, 95, left this life and gained perfect healing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sept. 16, 2012 at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne. She had lived in Kewanna most of her life and had been very active in the community and was also a member of Kewanna Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Joan (R. David) Boyer and Betty (Dr. E. Jon) Brandenberger both of Fort Wayne; son Dr. Richard (Susan) Graffis of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and sisters, Bonnie Lausted of Ann Arbor, Mich., Evelyn Guiler of Elkhart and Peggy Stadmiller of Ypsilanti, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Graffis who died in 1993; great grandson, Christopher Therber; parents, Don and Edna Nafe; one brother and three sisters.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Sat. Sept. 22, 2012 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday Sept. 21, 2012 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Graveside services are 3 p.m. Sat. Sept. 22, 2012 at Citizen's I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Kewanna.
Preferred memorials may be made to Blackhawk Christian School.
