Mrs. Mable A. Daulton, 96, of Rochester passed away at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Hickory Creek, Rochester.
Mable was born on Aug. 30, 1916, in Fulton County, the daughter of William and Frances Wilson Nixon. On Oct. 6, 1936, Mable and Dale "Dirty" Daulton were married in Valparaiso in the Methodist church. Mable retired after 30 years from Fulton County REMC as the office manager. In her free time, she loved to play golf. In 1982, she shot a hole in one on the Rochester Elks Club course.
Mable is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Dirty; one sister, Mary Helen Ault; and two brothers, Al Nixon and Jim Nixon.
It was her request that private family graveside services be observed. They will be held on Tuesday.
The Good Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
