Ronald R. Vorhees
Oct. 27, 1943 - March 8, 2013

Ronald Ray Vorhees, 69, of Logan, Ohio, passed away March 8, 2013, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Ronald was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Chester Ray and Frances Opal Vorhees.

He retired after 32 years from the Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo. He also attended the Rockbridge United Methodist Church.

Surviving are wife, Barbara J. Vorhees, whom he married in 1979; daughter, Regina Lynn Vorhees, of Kokomo; sons, Mark Allyn Vorhees, of Kokomo, and Ronald Lee (Patricia Wilkins) Vorhees, of Nynoa Lake; grandchildren, Kristopher Kane DeWitt, Justin Vorhees, Jake Conley, Audrey Lee Frances Vorhees, Braden Ray Vorhees, Camryn Alexander Vorhees, Haven Skyane Vorhees and Dalton Eugene Conley; great-grandchildren Max Williams, Layne Vorhees, Allyson Covert, and one on the way; stepdaughter, Marilyn (Bill) Bersbach; and stepgrandchildren Lindsey (Taylor) Phillips, Mackenzie (David) Jeffs and Decklin MacKenzie Jeffs.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn Sue Willison; and brother, Darrell Lee Vorhees.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio, with Reverend John Williams officiating.

Calling hours will be observed from 4-6 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in South Bloomingville, Ohio.

The family suggests donation be made in Ronald's memory to the Rockbridge United Methodist Church, Rockbridge, Ohio.
