Virginia Mortensen
Aug. 6, 1930 - March 14, 2013

Virginia 'Ginny' Mortensen, 82, of Noblesville, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013.

She was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Brighton, Mich., to the late Russel Alger and Thelma (Stoughton) Stewart.

Ginny was a graduate of Rochester High School, Rudae's Beauty College and Kree Institute of Electrolysis. She was employed with Llano Grande Lake Park as a manager and Victoria Palms as an activity director for 25 years, both located in southern Texas. Ginny was affiliated with White River Christian Church, Noblesville. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ginny is survived by her son, Cole Zartman (Mary Jo); sister, Mary Savage; grandchildren, Cory Zartman (Kelley), Shannon Belcher (Terry), Greg Eby (Toni) and Michael York; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters; and one stepson.

A daughter, Tina York; a granddaughter, Valerie Zuniga; and two brothers, John and Richard Stewart, preceded her in death.

Memorial Services will be held at White River Christian Church at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County at
