Cotus Eugene Hutchison

Cotus "Coty" Eugene Hutchison, 54, Leesburg, Fla., and formerly of Clinton, Illinois and Fulton County, Indiana, died at 2:28 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, in Florida.
Coty was born on April 24, 1959, in Rochester, the son of Cotus L. and Judith Ann (Middaugh) Hutchison. He graduated from Caston High School in 1977 and served with the United States Navy where he received the Battle E Ribbon and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
Mr. Hutchison had owned and operated the Hot Spot Tavern in Clinton, Illinois retiring in 2011. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4168, and the American Legion Post #103 both of Clinton, Illinois. He enjoyed playing Darts, watching NASCAR, and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include his son, Brady Hutchison, Leesburg, Fla.; father, Cotus Leroy Hutchison, Rochester; friend, Dawn Carroll, Leesburg, Fla.; sister, Pam Clay and husband Kim, Rochester; five brothers, David Hutchison, Rochester; Tim Hutchison and wife Kimmy, Fulton, Chuck Hutchison and wife Bianca, Eugene; Ore.; Steven Hutchison, Dandridge, Tenn., and Shaun Hutchison, Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Hutchison on Oct. 30, 2010.
Memorial graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Akron Cemetery, Fulton County Road 1075 East, Akron, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard.

Earl Deeds, Jr.

Earl "Tink" Deeds, Jr., 71, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:02 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on July 8, 1942, Peru, Indiana, to Earl O. Deeds Sr., and Gladys E. (Walker) Deeds.
Earl married the love of his life, Carolyn J. Eisenman, who survives, June 18, 1971, in Mexico, Indiana.
Earl was a retired truck driver who worked for E & B Paving, Rochester. He served in the Indiana National Guard. Earl was a member of the Deedsville United Methodist Church, Elks Club member, Rochester, a member of the Eagles Club, Rochester, and loved to golf in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Deeds; one brother, Eugene Deeds and wife, Karen, Rochester; two sisters, Jenice Armstrong, Elkhart and Deanna Bagley and husband Stanley Laketon; and several nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with Rev. Mike VanHeyningen officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.

Carolyn, sorry to hear about Tink, We thought the world of him when we lived in Rochester. We won't be able to make it to the services . But you are in our thoughts and prayers.
