Born April 27, 1986, in South Bend, she was the daughter of Charles Phillip Davenport and the former Linda Jo Blue.

Jessie was a Christian and had attended the Presbyterian church and First Baptist Church in Rochester. She graduated from Rochester High School in 2004 before attending Indiana University Kokomo, where she received an Associate of Arts degree in music and a Bachelor of Science in infomatics.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Phil and Sandy Davenport, Osceola; brother Joseph Davenport and wife Jackie, Harwood, N.D.; sister Jodie Davenport, Fargo, N.D.; niece and nephew Kaily and Kaiden Davenport; grandmother Mary Pickett, Elkhart; aunts and uncles Connie and Jim Stout, Elkhart, Kathy Goudy, Ohio, Greg and Theresa Blue, Fifield, Wis.; cousins Katie Schilling and Kelly Blue, Wendy and PJ Bernth, and Missy and Scott Craver; and close personal friends, Nathan, Rob, and Carla Lien.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Marge Blue; mother Linda Jo Davenport, and uncle Ron Goudy.

Her funeral service will be at noon Saturday, April 29, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev. Dr. Mark Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the funeral home.

While Jessie fought a long and difficult battle with lupus, she always managed to keep a positive attitude towards life. She requested a Disney-themed final service to celebrate her life, and the family requests that those paying their final respects remember Jessie by wearing something Disney-related.
