Phillip Elwood Jackson, 65, Argos, died on May 14, 2017, at 8:36 p.m. at his residence in Argos, where he had been in declining health.

On May 8, 1952, in Catlettsburg, Ky., he was born to Elwood Jackson and Erma (Williamson) Jackson. Phillip had lived most of his life in Marshall County.

On Sept. 27, 1975, in Argos, he married Belinda Sue Andrews. Phillip worked for Eisenhour Siding in Plymouth.

He loved the outdoors, was an avid mushroom hunter and enjoyed trapping. He visited Plymouth Speedway and enjoyed the races.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Belinda Jackson, Argos; his son, Ryan Phillip Jackson Sr., Argos; his daughter, Rachel Ann O'Dell and husband Kyle, Granger; two grandsons, Bryce Evan and Ryan P. Jackson Jr.; his brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Kentucky, Ron Jackson and wife Mary, Virginia, Robert Jackson, Kentucky, and Larry Jackson and wife Ruth, Kentucky; and his sister, Sharon Norman and husband David, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Jackson.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Rd., Argos, Indiana.

His funeral services will be on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Road, Argos, with the Rev. Lloyd Howard officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Phillip to the Fulton County Coon Hunters Club, Attn: Ty Lewis, 3145 N. 700 W., Rochester, IN 46975, or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
