Quinton Dale 'Red' Thiry

Quinton Dale "Red" Thiry, 61, Rochester, passed away at 8:44 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at his residence.
Born Oct. 25, 1955, in Peru, he was the son of Paul G. Thiry and the former Nellie Spencer.
He retired from Airvac after 29 years, where he worked as a machine operator and painter. He loved fishing, working on cars, spending time with family, and visiting with friends at the Rochester truck stop.
Survivors include his children, Jessy Thiry, Rochester, Jared Thiry (companion Mariah), Rochester, Joe (Michelle) Wolf III, Grovertown, and Josh Wolf-Bradway, Palestine; grandchildren Chayton Wolf, Maylee Wolf, Kanelee Jackson, and Jasmine M. Thiry, all of Rochester; siblings Paul W. (Irma) Thiry, Denver, twin sister Brenda (Herb) Herbruck, Massillon, Ohio, Ethel Thiry, Minerva, Ohio, Robert Jake Thiry, Peru, Midge (Jeff) Hendershot, Canton, Ohio, and Donald Hall, Minerva, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Thiry and stepmother Mildred, and Nellie Hall and stepfather Walt; and one sister, Vickie Moore.
His funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Johnny Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
