Shirley Burkett Fann, 82, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at La Loma Care Center in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

Shirley Jeanine Adams was born in Decatur, Ga., July 26, 1935, the daughter of Garland James and Anna (Jones) Adams.

She married her first husband, David Lee Burkett, in 1953 in Atlanta, Ga. They are the parents of three daughters, Sharon, Lisa and LeAnn. David and Shirley were owner-operators of a small grocery store in Talma for nearly 20 years. In 1991 they retired to Buckeye, Ariz. David passed away in 1996.

Shirley married Raymond Earl Fann in April 1998 in Sun City, Ariz. Raymond passed away May 2, 2017. He and Shirley were pioneer residents of La Loma Village, Litchfield Park, when it opened in 2005. Shirley was friendly and cheerful with passions for shopping, dancing and animals.

Shirley is survived by daughters Sharon Lindenlaub and husband Brian, Litchfield Park, Lisa Goodman and husband Pat, Rochester, and LeAnn McDonald and husband Kurt, Windermere, Fla; granddaughters Abby Lindenlaub Bunn, American Fork, Utah, Kathryn Lindenlaub Griffin, Las Vegas, Becky Lindenlaub Thacker, Studio City, Calif., Elaine McDonald and Jessica McDonald, both of Windermere; grandsons Brennan Goodman, West Lafayette, Layne Goodman, Rochester; great-granddaughters Lindy Bunn, Kyla Bunn, Miriam Bunn and Hannah Bunn, American Fork, and Olivia Thacker, Studio City; and great-grandsons Logan Griffin and Calvin Griffin of Las Vegas and Charlie Thacker, Studio City.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and a brother, Robert Quillian Adams.

A private celebration of her life will be at a later date.
