Nancy L. (Heinzmann) Van Lue, 66, Rochester, passed away at 9:59 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on July 26, 1946, in Rochester, the daughter of James Wesley and Mary Ellen (Paxton) Lyons.

On Aug. 30, 1964, in Rochester, she married Bondi Lynn Heinzmann. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1985. She then married Robert Van Lue on Nov. 29, 1985, in Rochester. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2010.

Nancy had worked for the former P.N. Hirsch Store and Dollar General Store in Rochester for over 40 years. She was currently working as a retail clerk at Pak-A-Sak. She had been a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, as a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star and the Eagles Lodge. In her spare time, Nancy was a devoted mother, grandma and great-grandma. She loved to babysit her grandchildren - always happy to play tea, make doll clothes or just go out for a drive. Nancy was an avid Elvis Presley fan and generous person who supported numerous charitable organizations, including St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle (Heinzmann) Hunsberger, Argos, Carmen (Heinzmann) Wilson, Akron, Amy and husband Todd Behny, Akron, Rebecca Heinzmann, Rochester, and Alyson Heinzmann and companion Justin Bradley, Rochester; grandchildren, Kyle Hunsberger, Lacey Hunsberger, Emily (Hunsberger) Vermillion and husband Keefe, Aaron Ault, Jacob and wife Shalena Rude, Gracie Wilson, Libby Wilson, Brandon Behny, Bryce Behny, Braxton Behny, LaShawna Burnett, Kaylie Heinzmann, Chayton Wolf, Brianna Norman, Bailey Bradley, Aubrielle Bradley, Rowan Heinzmann, Ashlyn Bradley; great-grandchildren, Mylie Rude, Jameson Rude, Caedra Behny, Zhayden Behny, Karter Behny, Peyton Vermillion, Kemper Holzwart, and Johnathan Hanish; sister, Vera Lynne Utter and companion Devon Utter, Rochester; brother, Michael James and wife Lois Lyons, Rochester; and her canine companion, Buster.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Brooklyn Faith (Heinzmann) Ault.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Reverend Jerry Pittman officiating.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

When she was first maried she lived in My parents house at the couner of 6th.and Pontiac.She made great Peanutbutter fudge.And,I'll miss her.

I am very sorry for the loss of Nancy, who was a childhood friend. I used to visit the Lyons household very often to play with Mike. Nancy was a good big sister.
