Ann S. Thompson, 79, Rochester, passed away at 11:19 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at her son’s home in Huntington.
In Lexington, Ky., Ann Shirley Hubbard was born on March 18, 1939, to Roy and Sarah Broughten Hubbard.
Ann and Bern J. Gordon were married. After many years, he passed away. Later, Ann met and married Ralph Thompson.
Ann was a machine operator for Lear Corp. of Bourbon. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Grandma Ann especially looked forward to the holidays and special family celebrations.
Left to cherish the memory of Ann are her daughters, Bernadine Gordon, Rochester, and Nora Katherine “Kitty” Jenkins; her sons, Bern J. Thompson and wife Amy, Huntington, and Gavin N. Jenkins; her granddaughter, Sarah Anna Hartlerode Alsusp; and her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Zeiger, Aiden Dean Myers and David Ashby Alsusp.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands Bern and Ralph.
