Bonnie Jerles Smith, 81, Kewanna, passed away peacefully at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Pulaski Health Care Center, Winamac.
Born on Aug. 7, 1936, in Concord, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Bernadine (Wymer) Jerles.
On Aug. 27, 1968, she married Kenneth D. Smith.  He preceded her in death on April 8, 1996.
Bonnie retired from Kewanna Metal Specialties.  She enjoyed gardening, garage sales, word puzzles and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Baldwin (Larry), Kewanna, Ron Browning (Georgia), Star City, Bob Browning, Plymouth, and Mary Shipman (Steve), Onward; stepdaughters Kathy Thompson (Dan), Plymouth, and Kim Hoover, Star City; and brothers Don, Robert and Edward Jerles, all of Ohio.
She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her stepson, Kevin Smith; stepson-in-law, Tom Hoover; and sisters Eileen (Jerles) Barr and Rosalee (Jerles) Rankin.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bruce Lake Cemetery.
