Jeffrey G. Skersick, 67, Kewanna, passed away at 3:56 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Woodlawn Hospital.

Born on Oct. 10, 1952, in Rochester, he was the son of Glenn and Marjorie (Wyland) Skersick.

He was a 1970 Kewanna High School graduate. Jeff was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.

He formerly worked at Moore Business Forms, Rochester Cement Products and Green Oak Antiques and as a self-employed landscaper.

Jeff enjoyed doing artwork, gardening and taking care of his cats.

Survivors include his partner, Wade Bussert, Kewanna; mother Marjorie Skersick, Rochester; son Russell Scott, Jacksonville, Fla.; brother Stephen Skersick (Judy), Greenwood; sister Penny Terrone (Michael), Rochester; brother Michael Skersick (Tami), LaGrange, Ga.; and grandson Aiden. He is also survived by his niece, LeAnna Skersick Marlatt; nephews Christopher Skersick, Brandon and Nathan Terrone and Pierce, Preston and Payne Skersick; and several great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn A. Skersick.

His funeral service will be private.
