Sheila Kay Dixon Honeycutt, 54, rural Rochester, passed away at 10:02 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 12, 1963, in Paintsville, Ky., to Russell and Ellen Arlene (Murray) Dixon.
On Feb. 7, 1981, in Wabash, she married Darrell Honeycutt. He survives.
She had worked for Rochester Metal, the Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, and GenCorp, Wabash.
She attended the House of Prayer, Akron. She adored spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed singing and listening to bluegrass music. She relished the summer and was fond of picture-taking. She loved to spend time with her husband in the morning hours listening to the “Trading Post” on the radio. 
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Honeycutt, Rochester; her daughters, Jessica and husband Mark France, Akron, and Erin Honeycutt, Rochester; her sons, Darrell Eugene and wife Brooke Honeycutt, Akron, and Lane Honeycutt, Rochester; her grandchildren, Dawson, Logan, Aydin, Jaylynn, Carter and Jayden; her great-grandchild, Dean; her sister, Paula; and her brothers, Phillip and Mike.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Francis, Mag, Brenda and Teresa; and her brothers, Victor and Lee.
Her funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Danny Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be at the Akron Cemetery. Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
